8/29 to 9/9/2018 We were fortunate to be in awesome Ecuador. We flew into Quito, drove west to Tandayapa, then on to Milpe (and Mindo), then east to Guango Lodge and back once again to Quito via Papallacta Pass. Our last day was spent at the Antisana Volcano Ecological Reserve. It was an incredible trip for us and we give a big, big THANKS to some great guides. Angel showed us the Andean Cock-of-the-rock and so much more, Stalen showed us the Golden-headed Quetzal , Sandra took us to see the Long-wattled Umbrellabird in Mindo, and Gabrial from the Guango Lodge found us a Gray-breasted Mountain Toucan and many more species.
