2/22 and 2/23/23 Fort Clinch SP, Amelia Island, FL: Went back both mornings to grab some more pics of the 3 Great Horned Owl chicks in the nest. An adult was visible in the mossy trees and showed up briefly at the nest to check on everyone. Too much fun to watch!
2/14 and 2/19/2023 Fort Clinch SP, Amelia Island, FL : Great Horned Owl nest with adult and 1 chick of 3 shown here. On 2/22/23, we saw 3 chicks in the nest. Also, an American Robin flock was giving a show in berries and flowers.
2/14 and 2/19/2023 Fort Clinch SP, Amelia Island, FL : Common Ground-dove , White-eyed Vireo , Yellow-rumped Warbler , Black Skimmer flock at sunrise , Pileated Woodpecker , Northern Cardinal , Ring-billed Gull , Gray Catbird , and Mourning Dove .
