Gainesville, FL : We spent a glorious morning at Sweetwater Preserve and had a wonderful time seeing many Least Bittern individuals and a Purple Gallinule family. There were Common Gallinule young as well and an adult Little Blue Heron and a juv. in molt.
Also: Limpkin , Anhinga , Tricolored Heron , Red-winged Blackbird , Great Blue Heron (juv), Boat-tailed Grackle (FL dark-eyed m, f, juv), and Black-belled Whistling-Duck .
