10/9/26 Amelia Island, FL: We had noticed a number of Peregrine Falcon flybys on the previous day, with the birds hanging around some beach condos (as if they were cliffs). We headed to the beach with the camera early the next day and sure enough, we counted 15 at once – mostly juveniles playing in the stiff breeze that had been sweeping the coast because of the Northeaster. With a few Merlin flybys and a couple of Osprey and Red-tailed Hawks, it was a regular hawk watch for over an hour!
