1/24/21 Amelia Island: It was bath time and the local birds treated us to a fine show: Common Ground-Dove , Gray Catbird , Northern Cardinal , Northern Mockingbird , and Yellow-rumped Warbler .
1/23/21 Amelia Island: An American Robin and Cedar Waxwing mixed flock was feeding on berries and giving a show while a Pileated Woodpecker pair worked for grubs in the nearby trees. Also: Savannah Sparrow, female Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, Tricolored Heron , and Vesper Sparrow (which we don’t get to see often on-island).
